What's New at the Academy: Clearer Projects, New Remedies, and Links That Speak Your Language

There is a season for building and a season for tending what has been built. These past weeks we have done some gentle tending, smoothing the edges of the academy so the work in your hands is clearer, richer, and easier to share. Here is what is new.

You can now see the projects, not just read them

The Hands-On Survival Projects were always thorough, but words only carry a reader so far. We have begun adding a natural photograph to each project so you can picture the finished work, and, where it helps, a clear technical diagram showing how the pieces fit together. The first projects in the Water and Electricity sections are done, and more are on the way. Every picture and diagram also travels into the printable PDF, so the copy on your workbench is as clear as the one on your screen.

A new category: Seeds, Herbs and Natural Remedies

From the beginning we were given every seed-bearing plant and every green herb, for food and for healing. A brand new category now returns to that gift with eleven complete, step-by-step projects: planning a year-round survival garden, raising a home medicinal herb garden, making your own moringa powder, saving heirloom seeds for years, preparing gentle remedies from common plants, and more. Each one carries the same honest overview, materials list, numbered steps, safety notes, and short spiritual reflection as the rest of the library, and each can be printed or saved as a PDF.

A gentle word on the healing projects: they draw on old, trusted wisdom, but they are not a replacement for professional medical care. Learn each plant well, be certain of what you gather, and consult a qualified health professional before using herbs medicinally.

Share a link, and it speaks your reader's language

The academy already lives in many languages, and now the links you share do too. When you pass a page to a friend in their own tongue, it opens in that language, and the little preview card that appears on Facebook and other sites shows the title and summary translated as well.

Here is the front door of the academy in every language we currently carry. Copy the one that fits your friend and send it on:

Would you share this with the ones you love?

If this academy has been a help to you, whether you joined last year or only this week, we gently ask one thing: tell others. Share these links with family, your church, your neighbors, and friends near and far. A single message can set a whole household on the road to readiness.

And we would like to thank you for it. When you bring at least five new members to the academy, we will open the full paid library to you free of charge, every project, every guide, every download. It is our small way of honoring those who help the good word travel.

Your new Invite and Unlock page

To make this simple, every signed-in member now has a personal Invite and Unlock page. You can reach it from the new slide on the home page and from a card on your member dashboard. There you will find your own invite link, ready-made share buttons in every language, and a gentle counter showing how close you are to five. Each friend who joins through your link is counted for you, and the moment you reach five, your full access opens on its own. The same page is also where you can connect us with a native speaker, or ask for a new language.

Help us reach every nation

The harvest is plentiful, and there are still tongues we have not yet learned to speak. If you know people who speak a language the academy does not yet carry, connect us with a trusted native speaker who could help us translate well, or simply write to us and ask for a new language. We long for this work to reach every corner of the earth, and you can help open those doors.

Walking on, one step at a time

None of this is loud, and that is on purpose. Preparation is rarely dramatic. It is steady, faithful work, done while the sun still shines. We are grateful to keep building this alongside you.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations." Matthew 28:19
