The Survival Projects Library Is Now Fully Open

For a long time our Survival Projects library showed you the doorway without letting you through it. You could see the titles, the categories and the promise of them, but the full plans stayed just out of reach. That changes today. Every one of the 45+ hands-on projects now has complete, step-by-step content, drawn faithfully from the material many of you already know and trust, and rewritten in the plain, practical spirit of this academy.

What is inside the library

These are not vague ideas. Each project gives you a clear overview, a full list of materials and tools, numbered steps you can actually follow, honest tips learned from doing the work, and a short word of safety so no one gets hurt. And because everything here is built on a foundation of faith, each project closes with a brief spiritual reflection, a reminder that the work of our hands is also an act of worship and good stewardship.

The projects are grouped so you can find what your household needs first:

  • Water: capture, store and purify clean water for your family.
  • Electricity and power: simple, resilient ways to keep the lights on when the grid does not.
  • Food: grow, preserve and store what you eat, season after season.
  • Security and shelter: practical steps to keep your home and loved ones safe.
  • Backyard and homestead: the everyday builds that make a place more self-reliant.

Take them with you, even off the grid

Every project can be printed or saved as a PDF, so you can keep a clean copy on the workbench or tucked in a binder for the day the screen is dark. Members can download any project in the library. And there is good news for everyone: our free off-grid how-to guides are now printable too. All 21 of them can be saved as a PDF at no cost, ready to work through with your hands whether or not you are signed in.

How to begin

Open the Survival Projects library and choose one project that meets a real need in your home this week. Gather the materials, follow the steps, and let it be the first of many. If you would like the full library at your fingertips, you can join the academy to unlock every project and download them all. As you go, tick each finished build off in your preparedness tracker and watch your readiness grow.

Faithful work, one project at a time

Preparedness is not panic. It is the quiet, steady work of a wise steward who provides for his household and trusts God with the rest. A skill learned and a thing well built are small acts of faith, laid up like stores against a winter we hope never comes. We are glad to hand you these plans, and gladder still to walk this road alongside you.
